Hi mate, my logo is pretty basic, a printer made it up for me years ago. I must be sad, when I had my latest van sign written, I gave my business card to the sign writer, and said do it like that. Unimaginative or what?

Always wondered why the notches were back to front on that one.

Tried doing a bit of a logo for signwriting the other day but not happy with it, needs a bit of attention. Showed it to my graphic designer mate and he told me it was useless.

I noticed that about the trowel too but didnt like to say anything

the problem is the grout lines going down through the wording
change that and it will look fine

Aye that's one problem of many, think I'll just ask my mate to do it for a box of beers.

Says 'PS Tiling' on my business cards, although I think I prefer to use my full name. The 'PS' thing sounds a wee bit silly in hindsight. May as well try and sell myself on my name, rather than having 4 'PS Tiling' vans driving about Belfast.

If you can afford it invest in getting a proper identity designed for your business - I would in general steer clear of using a printer or a free logo programme. If you can get yourself an indetity developed that has the scope to be rolled out over stationery ad van etc it can (in my opinion) set you apart from your competetiors and will pay for itself in no time at all.
