My NVQL2 hasn't really been any use to me. Gets you your CSR/CSCS card to go on site where applicable, but hasn't really got a place in most domestic applications and won't swing a job in your favour. Didn't really learn anything at all on the course either.

It may not swing a job but it wont do any harm......and then again to the right client it may swing the job.

I am time served, so qualified for CSCS Gold card under grandfather rights. Thank god, but I am just enquiring about heritage nvq level three. After 43 yrs in the game I hope I don't have to much hassle. To old to sit exams etc.

welcome kevin, i can only see the advantages to completing an nvq course in tiling, its a step up on your way to gaining the relevant knowledge to give you a head start. cant see any disadvantages in that. a good memory is the key to education. you will be still learning when you hang up your boots.
