    Default little chips

    i was tiling a kitchen floor today with b&q cheapos customer bought them obviously and i had just finished grouting and dropped my pencil and it chipped the edge of the tile only a tiny little chip but couldnt believe it wasnt a heavy pencil by the way just a standard hb anyway mixed a bit of ivory grout with a hint of grey and it matched perfectly i know noone heres gonna admit to doing this little touch up job themselves or if you do have you got any bodger tips . mine was under where the washing machines going just goes to show how rubbish b&q tiles are

    could have understood if it was a 2H pencil but not just a HB. surprised.

    brinkley... I know too many. The aim is to try and avoid needing them as you progress.

    Confession.. I did a set on a large wall and just one 'white' (shadow cast) tile looked out. It stuck out like a sore thumb. I chiselled it out but nipped another tile
    in the process, D'oh! a larger decorative one.
    I repaired it with car body filler and touched it in with white gloss.

    Mums the word!

    Here is one i repaired a few weeks ago..marble tile with underfloor heating, as the tiler was finishing he dropped something on the tile and chipped it..right in the doorway.. Tile could not be removed due to electric underfloor heating. Once polished you could not see the chip.

    Sean, good job it wasn't a 6H, it may have killed someone on the floor below.

    BTW are Barratts still in business.

    Hope not they built my house not a square wall in the house, i think they must use a tree branch for a level
