Has any of you who advertise on Yell.com had any business from it? Just asking because i put a free listing on there site about 6 weeks ago, had 12 calls from it so far. If you havn't got yourself on it really reccomend it, costs not a penny.

i put a free ad on there weeks back and the thom web, but all i get is 3rd party advertisers pestering me to take more adverts out with them which really annoy me!

i paid for a couple of months on yell with a link to my website, Imho it is rubbish think i had 1 call from it + all the advertising calls like clays said. where abouts are you penno?

I've had them pestering today about putting me on a wall planner for a mere £295 !

I've had a couple of calls from people finding me on Yell, one led to a shop re-fit so I was pleased with that, the other calls I have come from leafleting.

From what I have heard Yell is a waste of time

It's free though, and if you just get one job out of it, then your £££'s in for tha small amount of effort it took to add your details.

Yeah don't pay for it just go on Yell free advert. Got a call asking would i be interested in putting a boxed add in the yellow pages so told them to send me the info and would take a look. Phoned them up after reading and told them i wasn't interested. Low and behold they didn't give me a free listing in the yellow pages.

I'm sick of running out of the bath thinking its a customer only for it to be someone asking about f****ng advertising but if I just get one customer out of it it'll be worth it since it costs noting.
