Was shown samples of these in my local tile shop by the schultz rep, haven't tryed yet but they look the dogs. I did get a nice mixing bucket and tape of him though (love a freebie me)

Got the pack through the post today! I had a word with the schluter rep about it the other week and yes it looks the balls! He showed a video and the guys wer putting boxings together in secs! Dont know how much it costs yet but Id love to have a play.

I have used it for boxing in a wet room. Very good product as are all schluter products, but the price is so ridiculous it prices itself out.
They do a preformed boxing piece which is about 6"x6" and 8' long and i was quoted about £80. Fantastic stuff but i'll stick to the Wedi board thanks.

Can you use the Schluter board on floors like other backers or is it just for walls?

not sure on that one mate. you can use the Wedi board on floors so i dont see why not

No doubt we will get a pretty orange and white brochure and pdf with a million figures quoted on it about stresses, tensions, weights and dimensions to make us think its better than all the other products on the market.......when it isnt really its just an overpriced version.......

I'm sure it's great,most Schluter product is,but for me,unless the customer has deep pockets and has actually specified"Schluter Products"I steer away from them because in my books everything they make is overpriced,but like I said,if the pockets are deep,bring it on,but you have my curiousity up now I;ll have to run down to my tile supply and see if they carry it.Thanks,Mike
