Without a shadow of a doubt

You really need to get a good buttering on the back of the tile as well as using a 8 or 10mm serator

What background are you fixing to for weight purposes?

Im fixing them to 12mm Hardiebacker board which I put up last week, they can take up to 45kg with a good wall stud.
    Cheers,
    Vinnie.

Make sure your adhesive you are using is suitable for the bed depth..

If you end up bedding over 6mm depth regulary, then switch to a thick bed adhesive..but you should be ok if your prepped right..
