    How many of you use masons mitre cuts for box sectioned corners in bathrooms?

    Not in a bathroom, I have done in other areas, depends on the tile type and what the customer wants.

    i have but only once, it was on rough cut marble (it was more like a peeble dash wall affect!) it was the only way to get the ext corners looking ok

    But apart from that its trim i use

    i prefer mitered tile look, but practically trim is better if you knock corner with something trim will protect tiles, but if you have mitered tiles they might chip really easy

    it really depends on the tile you are using and the effect you want to create..

    stone can look great but as stated above, in a bathroom, especially on box sections ,this could get knocked and chipped..

    theres always quite a bit of expansion on box sections to their construction and heat from pipes etc....just a few things for you to consider mate..
