| time scale roughly for bathroom | | hi all, how long roughly does it take to do 15 sq meters of bathroom lots of cuts customer wants time scale doing one at moment a bit smaller my first bathroom job and this is taking a lot longer than i thought also 300x200mm tiles any tips for underside of the top of windows will adhesive hold them easy enough using bal grip.. thanks any advise would be great... cheers rossy.. | | |

For the underside of reveal, reduce that time, particularly if you have the window open as the adhesive will dry a lot quicker, thus losing the adhesion against the tile.

| Re: time scale roughly for bathroom | | Hi Rossy, must agree with Dave regarding time, my first full bathroom took around 4 days to the end of grouting, though mine did include 2.5m2 of floor. My second 1 was slightly bigger but I did do it a bit quicker, even though I had a few problems with sh!te tiles.

| Re: time scale roughly for bathroom | | At the moment, Rossy, as I am still learning and getting up to speed, I tell the customer that I will allow a week for the work even though it should be finished sooner. I explain this to them and they always seem fine. Oh! BTW, as previously pointed out in other posts, and on th BAL Grip bag, showers should not be used for 2 weeks after grouting!!!!

This included 2 floors of course.
