I bought one years ago, tried it once, too much time and faff imho, it's still in the bottom of my bag though![]()
I haven't got one, but it's something I've thought about getting, seems like it could be a decent purchase![]()

i have the rubi one, it comes out to play now and again.

i use something similar, i think its a great tool.

Available from Trade tiler...
T5 Angle Finder
Unique to Tradetiler
Makes marking angled cuts easy.
No mater what odd angle you have this tool transfers it across on to the tile to be cut. It is hard to explain so click on the 'How To Use' link to see some pictures.

I have a rubi one, only use on the rare occasion though.

same ere got a rubi one and sometimes use it
What do you use instead you guys? I tend to use lining paper and make a template but what other methods or gadgets are there out there??![]()

Linning paper as well![]()

Diamond cuts take seconds to measure and cut, profile cuts.......I draw them with a pencil to match.
Easy.

I quite like the challange of doing an off the square check and the satisfaction of getting it to fit first time - none of this stencil or lining paper nonsense.
Might be good for old tilers whos eyes arent the best any more.
I dont I'm doing just like Dave.To be a tiler you must have handskils and good eye

i bought something similar from screwfix a few years back and feel that is pretty useless. A sliding bevel or just scribing can do the exact same thing faster.

ideal for new tilers, but i prefer to measure/bevel/scribe...makes you think a little bit more about the job too, which improves your skill.
i use paper and make a template. did buy a templating tool once, but it was too much hassle to use. think its in a box with all the other supposed time saving gadgets somewhere![]()
