    Default dot and dabbing!

    this is another mess i've to rip and re-tile,the "tiler"(i use that word rather loosely in this case) has decided to save himself a bag of adhesive and dot and dab the floor,surprise surprise there is crack marks and punctures showing in several places! let this be a lessson not to cut corners

    i was watching diy sos over the weekend

    the chippy and the designer were arguing about how to tile

    he told her off for back buttering the tiles

    he told her to dot them as the air gets in and dries the addy, her way the addy wont dry

    fortunatly she ignored him and carried on in her own sweet way

    if the telly are going to give misinformation on a diy program its no wonder that people make these mistakes

    Dot and Dab does not meet BS does it? thought the idea was to acheive as full a bed of adhesive as possible with as few voids as possible......
