I'd tend to wipe fingers of adhesive on my trousers, when I first started my apprenticeship my da often asked if I was tiling my trousers.

Try to keep a clean working area but hard to do sometimes, will always give the room a good clear out a few times a day. Like to keep my tools clean and tidy - nothing worse than using tools with years worth of adhesive on them.

I am actually a rubbish tiler but then I don't do it for a living. I usually get covered in addy myself and as I work through the tiling job I get addy all over the place and have to try and clean up later. I will post some pics of my back passage when I get it finished. Not been able to get on with the cuts and edges cos of the weather.....

For some reason I need an area of a football pitch for my tools, allways been the same no matter what I'm doing.

Allways keep a bucket of water close by to keep my hands clean and the tiles but do wipe my hands on my jeans quite often

I'm quite clean. I keep a bucket of water near by and an old sponge just to wipe my tools and hands every now and again and have a few old towels just to dry hands on etc etc. Its quite easy to stay clean if you make the effort and in time it becomes second nature.

Just an old t shirt or rag will help keep you clean rather then wiping the adhesive over your trousers.

When i first started out i used to come home covered in the stuff. Now days its not too bad, alway's have a bucket close to hand and generally have a tidy up half way through the day. The van on the other hand is usually a mess from top to bottom.

i always work clean and tidy

your in someones home not on a building site

now the back of the van is a differant matter

i try to keep it tidy but sometimes it gets in a pickle and i hate it

it wastes time and tools / materials can get lost or damaged

also it doesnt look good if you are at the back of your van and the customer nips out to ask if you want a cuppa

so its more effort this year on van organisation front
