dont use them...diy gimmick..just gather all the soap and ****e from showers etc.......dave

ye the crappy plastic things . one firm i contract to insist on them the other one dont want them . personaly i hate the bloody things. they seem to be a magnet for gathering S*%T . and they look crap to start with .

prop your bottom tiles up using rubi wedges to do this, then silicone...........prop them up cause silicone likes to go into some thing to make a good contact . tiling directly onto bath surface, as silicone will just peel away eventually..............IMO

Im with fred, i leave a 2mm gap between my cut onto the bath or shower. Dont grout it and fill with lovely flexi anti mould silicone.

Only had one problem and that was where the bath dropped about 10mm, the frame it was set on collapsed. Oops!
