lol - I'd say Dave too. And most weeks, on this forum alone, probably still others that come before me *** gutted ***

But, that said, forum by definition means 'open discussion' and it takes all to make it work. What would this place be like with JUST Dave talking to himself? lol

I had to tell Dave once this "if you don't reply first each time you'll double the forum posts" he said "why?" I said "because when you reply, the answer is given, and there's no need for anybody else to reply, but if you wait untill there's one reply at least, and then reply, that will cause there to be at LEAST two replies to each question, and on average in total, double the replies".

I think if I hadn't said that, he'd definitely have HALF the TOTAL posts on the forum. I managed to somehow direct him to lots of forums which give us all a chance to chat here. lol

Well done to Dave, but who's the next guy (definitely not me, I'm genuinely asking!)?

Time wise being just logged in but not doing anything, I reckon I'm on here for about 8 hours during the day and then 2 hours in the evening. 5 days a week though. I have stuff to do at the weekends.

Prob used to be me at one time as I was on pretty much all day until bed time. Been away from the place for a while but am probably behind some of the others now. AM getting more time to get back to contirbuting now though!

Liz...well what can i say...Thank you..it is great that a member who only came here for advice about tiling has become a staff member and a big poster and most off all learnt so much about the theory side of tiling it is unbelievable..

But i will say thanks to all who post and spend hrs on here...You make the forum what it is and that is what counts...
