Default Tiling a triangular horizontal surface

    Me again.

I have three triangular surfaces that I need to do, but am not sure what I'm doing.

Here's how it used to be (my black lines added to make it easier to see previous layout).

However, I'm not using 15x15cm tiles, but 20x25cm. How do I start to get my head around this. Do I cut the tiles and lay them out so the grout lines appear to meet as you walk in the bathroom or as you are in the bath? Or do I have the grout lines and tiles straight in front of the bath regardless of where they'd meet with the vertical tiles? As there's three separate sections under three different walls would mean there's all different grout lines. Do I treat each wall and each triangle under it as its own entity? I assume I need to have bigger cut-outs of
tiles towards the bath and smaller sections near the back? *slightly worried*

Here's a couple of photos of the surface I want to start

I'm not sure if the tiles should lay straight

    or at an angle

I would lay them straight if the front of the bath is seen as they will then run in joint if its not then run them in with the wall its customer preference i would show them and let them choose.

you will find it easier to run the straight edge along the bath.

Doing it this way will mean your grout lines do not join up with those on the wall but it is easier for you. I would also tile the shelf around the bath first then finish the last row of wall tiles. This will allow you some degree of error for your angled cuts as the wall tile will cover any errors you make.

So pretty much how they were tiled before

I take it you mean do all three of the horizontal triangles first before finishing bottom. I had planned on doing that, but doing one wall and it's horizontal bit first, but I was just going to cut the horizontal tiles first and make sure I've got all the fits right before doing the vertical tiling.

That's why I've left bottom row of tiles so I can work out the horizontal and make sure I get them right. Knowing my luck though....
