Hi All,

Have you got much work on ? Has this year been quieter than last year ?
Are you hoping for a busier year in 2010 ?

For me, this year has been quieter than last year, but i suppose that was to be expected.
Its picked up now for the xmas rush and i have work booked in.
I'm expecting next year to be busier and hope i can survive til it really picks up.

hiya mate ,picking up for me,did a quote sat morning,they accepted it,so got 4 days work next week,kitchen and bathroom floors in a 400 yr old cottage, and im laying a sandstone courtyard after xmas for em

keeping my add running in the local rag has been a winner,£57 for 5 weeks ,1"sq box.

but this job came from yell.com. £140 for yellow pages ,small rectangle, but it go`s on the web also,steve

Not been too bad really. Hardly anything from advertising though, been mostly repeats and referrals, so for anyone just starting out it must be hard at the moment.

i had nothing threw september and the start of october was quiet! Then all of a sudden it went hectic! been working flat out this is my first half day off for 7 weeks i have had to travel to get the work 2hrs each way but i am earning again and i have jan and feb secured, im hoping it will keep coming in and it will get closer to home!

It's been up and down like a yo yo this year, busy at the moment but nothing booked for the new year

Up and down at the moment. One day last week , but solid til chrimbo now. Not sure what's happening afterwards yet!?!
