Could someone recommend me a good laser to purchase, got a cheap one but you can barely see the lines when it is projected. Do i need one with a tripod? Have seen one in b and ****e thats made by bosch and comes with tripod, looks ok. Willing to spend a few quid if it makes my life easier.

Can't watch those ask the builder vids anymore without laughing, bloke is the double of Brian Potter off Phoenix nights.

The Bosch PCL1 worth a buy? anyone used it?

i use the one dave is on about in the screwfix....it's self levelling so saves time...no need to fiddle about setting it up.

If you use a set of laser glasses when using your laser then they enhance the laser....dave.... these are those red ones...usaully come with most laser levels...

forgive my ignorance, but how are laser levels used by tilers? I've been tiling about 6 months and have never needed one. Do u just use them to inform where to fix your battens?

you can use them to set up your datum lines ...sometimes when you mark around the room with your level you can be out a bit then have to start again..but with the laser level on an adjustable tripod then you can get correct levels every time.......dave...
