3 way trim

How do you get trim to join at a 3 way? I've attached a pic of the window reveal im doing, but dont know hoe to get the trim (RED) to join when three pieces are coming together at the same point.

I mitre the two horizontal ones and just tuck the vertical one under neath.....mitring this one with the cill ones and other vertical one....dave.....

er? not sure what you mean here. I understood the first bit, i.e. tucking the vertical one in behind.

you will have to mitre the cill trim to the vertical trims if the cill is to be tiled......dave..

Had the same problem with a kitchen. Sat for while thinking how to do it then persuaded the customer that it would look better without the reveal being tiled at all. She was delighted with the result. Failing that you can get corner pieces that mean you don't have to mitre at all.

Either get corner pieces or you can get square trim for the vertical still looks really good,I personally find it quite difficult the way Dave does to make it look tip top.

pure skill simon mate..yrs of practice and a little nail file to dress the mtres up....dave...
