| Re: Polish Tilers | | Ah! now I know why I'm so slow, I am making too much effort to set my tiles with sliding twisting action and also ensuring my grout lines are straight and that I have balanced cuts at each end of the tiled area. Must rectify all this staight away.! |

As far as I see it, and I've seen this video ages ago, he got them all down straight, minimum cut and very quickly, but he gets a lot of stick for it, there again, I bet he wouldn't get half as much stick if he was english. | My main point was that I didn't actually see him "set" the tile into the adhesive, he just plonked them on the wall and moved onto the next tile. I have first hand experience of tiles falling off my bathroom wall into my bath because they had not "set" correctly. Could have been disasterous if someone had been in the bath at the time!
The rest of it was probably acceptable but to me, not correct. It is not the way I do my work but each to their own. |

| Re: Polish Tilers | | That guy shuffles tiles faster than I shuffle cards. No wonder the B***ard keeps beating me at poker! Still I would love to work with him. The other two lads just stand about listening to rave music, whilst Old Quick Draw does all the work. | | |

| Re: Polish Tilers | | Any one can lash tiles on like that, minimum coverage of adhesive on the back, straight bench, tiles fit exactly up to the top of units , three simple cuts at the end, i liked the way he give the tile a slap to make it stick better, thats gonna help a lot. I wonder if he does bigger bathroom tiles with the same method, if he does, 1 day to tile it, 5 minuits for them to fall off.
Bit of a joke i think | |
