Default work from property developers?

Anybody successfully market themselves to property developers?
By property developers I don't mean companies working on new builds (although may be useful too) I'm thinking of people renovating existing homes for a profit.

Any idea of how to market to these people when, so far as I know, they dont tend to advertise?

Have done a few jobs for some property developers, can be a pain in the arse sometimes as they obviously don't want to cut into their profits too much therefore they skimp on materials etc and normally haggle over the price.

I've done a few where other tradesmen I know do all there work, they usually want just boring cheap white tiles but I can normally persuade them to have something done that looks very trendy quite cheaply(materials wise)I make the point that the kitchen and bathroom spec are gonna be the reason why the house sells at a good price.
Maybe you should advertise with the local estate agents after all thats where the PD's have to go to buy the house in the first place.

Go to the property auctions as thats were there going to be, get some flyers for your business and hand them out to them in the break, thats the best way to catch them, you can see which value houses they are buying as well, some go for the expensive houses to develop where they dont scimp as much, just watch which way you scratch yourself or you might end up with a new house.

I put flyers in the letterboxes of houses for sale and auction if the house is empty i do this 2 or 3 times also if a house is sold and you have posted a flyer the owners may have taken you flyer with them for there new house so when the sign go's post another for the new owners. people like to put there mark on a new house.

Nothing is imposable it just costs more
