I know that shares in Expamet building products (Hartlepool) always go up after floods, think of all the new plasterboard needed!

i can only imagine the time pressure on jobs like that i would just pick up the phone to some likely looking companies in the area, there will be loads on the net mate ive done this a few times when doing 'research' and you would be amazed how much you can find out

September floods in Morpeth were not dried out till February (5 months) then rebuilding (2months) tiling ready for May (total 8/9months).
Majority of work undertaken by White vans from all around the country through Insurance Co's. Very little was done by local firms.
On a job next door to a Victorian I was retiling a tiler arrived at 1pm to fix a tile and he had driven from Manchester!!!!
And you wonder why your insurance premiums are so high.
