Default How to cut floor tiles around shower tray

There's been a lot of posts on here about cutting around obstacles so thought I'd post some pics of how I do it since I had a lot of these to do around the curved shower tray today.

    Full tiles are down:
I place spacer to measure up to and also leave a couple of mm movement gap against obstacle.

    Measure both sides:

Transfer these 2 measurements to the tile to be cut.
I then use my Jakarflex (solder wire is just as good) to replicate the curve:

Then transfer to the 2 marks on the tile made from the previous measurements:

Cut tile and it will fit every time:

Great post, even more so because you made me google 'Jakarflex' and now I want one

So simple I can't think why I haven't seen somebody with one already, do they do a square version? that I would buy for woodwork scribbing
