    Default charcoal grout/flint tiles

    Hi all,

I've just tiled a wall with Pilkington's dark grey/black "smooth stone flint" tiles 100x100. They are going to be grouted with charcoal grout, but I just have a couple of questions.

    1) Do you think these tiles should be sealed before grouting? (I think they are ceramic with some sort of flint-like surface finish. They don't look porous to me.)

    2) Anybody got any tips on how to keep charcoal grout looking dark and stop it developing a lighter grey haze?

    Thanks in advance
