    Default toilet waste

    Hi was wondering if some one could help. when taking out toilet to tile floor i read on forum because of hight differance you can fit an elliptical push fit on to waste,is this the same as a off set.

    I had this very problem in both my bathrooms (oooh that sounds so posh). I tried offsets in both but wwithin about 12 months of each they began to leak. I replaced them both with flexis and have never had any further trouble.

    When the thread said -toilet waste- I thought we were talking 'pooh'.
    Then when I read the posts I realised it was soil pipes.
    Well I've got flexis in all 3 of my toilets .

    Flexis are not always better then an offest. It's hard to say without seeing so your best bet is go speak to your local plumbing merchant and they'll give you the best recommendation for what you have. Also it depends on the flexi...I've seen some shocking ones that won;t last 6 months
