I use schluter reno u trim comes in stainless its a good alternative to the wood Schluter-RENO-U - Schluter-Systems

I do the same when ever have have fitted oak flooring mate. I rip one of the oak floor planks to the desired size and then plane a bevelled profile and finnish with to match the floor. Saves buying one, you always have offcuts etc anyway when fitting wood.
