    Hello.

I've finally managed to attach the photos - you can see why I'm kept away from the important DIY jobs!!!

In our new house's hallway we stripped away dog eaten carpet, squared parquet, lino tiles to discover the original terracota tiles - only one in cracked!!
Can anyone advise how we should clean and seal them, please? Can we use products from the high street or get specialist ones? My husband has removed the black adhesive so look cleaner than in the photos.

    Any advice appreciated!!

    Thank you.

    Susan

    it seems to me,

most are missing, floors are worth keeping if they are intact or "almost" intact, your hubby ma have been too heavy with the hammer.

never mind, rip out and re production.

    the are awfully nice new!

    Dagger!

    Thanks Dagger,
The floor is completely intact, every tile in place - the photos show the work as it was being done! Will try to post an updated photo later.

Here are the most recent photos. The big black marks were over the whole floor - just got the last bit to clean off.
Do we need to clean and seal the tiles?
    Thanks.
