    Default Manhole cover insert thingy?

How do all, i've got a kitchen floor to tile and there's a rectangular access cover/manhole in the middle of the floor. Does anybody make a tileable insert? The builder wanted me to tile straight onto the metal cover, i've had a look at the schluter website but can't see anything suitable does such a thing exist?
    Cheers
    Lee.

If you have inserted manhole cover the screed should be bedded within the insert but gauged to the depth of the tile and adhesive

As john said..wickes do them...about £30 odd quid....jewsons will as well i think...but you need to screed some of them to depth as mentioned above.

Slurry coat the inside of the tray and then screed it using fast set cement in the mix...then you can tile it alot quicker..

you will need a double seal manhole cover indoors about 2 inches deep screed the inside upto required depth to take tile and addy all builders merchants will sell them but it must be double sealed.
