    Default b +q porclien tiles

    hi all , client has just bought 130 sqm 600x 600 polished porclien tiles (beige) at £10 a metre so cheap he had to go for it, the other prices he was gettin were £22 /£25 a metre , i ve heard of probs with them been not sealed, would u recommend sealing them before fitting? as id heard that even the adhesive can stain them whilst fitting .. also anything else i should look out for ..

    never had a problem with them staining mate,just make sure you work cleanly and seal before and after grouting just check the sizes of a few tiles before you lay them and if they are a bit out use larger spacers
    alcohol-the cause and solution to all of lifes problems

    they are a bit SIZY, and more importantly MAKE SURE THEY ARE THE SAME SHADE!

    the last 3 times i have had to use b and q tiles there have been at least two different batches, and more recently 3 different batches!

    At £10 a m2 they are giving them away. They can afford a decent price to get them fixed properly, it will take time to seal them so add that on!
