Expansion joint needed or not?
Doing a shop floor over the weekend, Its a wooden floor measuring 8m x 5m (40sq/m), using 1000 x 500 and 500 x 500 porcelain, skirting to go on after tiling completed so a expansion joint can be incorporated around the edge, Is a expansion joint needed along the 8m part of the floor? or is every 10m?

Re: Expansion joint needed or not?
What thickness is the ply?
Those 1000 x 500 are big babies, might be worth putting in an expansion joint if the pattern allows?
