Not really the thing to discuss in open forum mate, why not ask the suppliers in question, better still, open the accounts and see what difference it can make

It's not always easy to get trade accounts to be honest. The only place locally that would give me a trade account was the Ceramic Tile Warehouse. They have a trade price list too, so you can see what you're getting.

Topps wouldn't give me an account, they just kept messing me around saying "bring this, bring that", then "The manager's not here, i'll pass on your paperwork... blah blah blah" Never heard back from them, and will never give them another penny of my business.

That sounds harsh beanz, Topps gave me an account on the spot, as did Tile Giant, and I think I still have the forms for CTD

Was it something you said ?

Nope, don't think so. The guy's in there seemed nice enough, they just seemed reluctant to dish out a trade account, even though i was only after a cash account... Not like i was asking for credit or anything!?!?!

Topps can afford to give you 50% off and still be more than mrp

I think it's an area thing maybe. The nearest tile shop to me doesn't do trade accounts at all.... Can't imagine why they seem to be struggling!?!?!

They are a rip off to public imo...but they do offer trade a good discount..topps that is.As the lads have said before give the shops a try and compare ..all discounts are different for various reasons...location,quantity etc.
