Default Advertising on year planners

Just had a phone call from christies hospice charity. They have basically offered me a beer mat size ad on a large yearly planner that will be distributed to all major businesses throughout the north west. I would be the only Tiler on advertised on the planner and would cost me £299. Do you think it would be worth it?

Thx
Mat

Definately not! These types of advertising calls are little more than scams. Once you agree to one you will be inundated with phone calls all chasing the same thing. Your money would be better off spent elsewhere, IMO.

I agree with the above. For that sum of money you could target specific customers more than people who may happen to read the planner in a not very detailed geographic location.

complete waste of time mate,we all concur.
You could probably get your local rag to distribute your leaflets for that, hit more customers that way.

Just think about how many businesses would have a charity planner vs one full of tits

ohh, thats calenders init...

Personally, I wouldn't bother, and if you think about it that's also 30,000 leaflets, so if you can get them door to door and in shops, it will target a whole load more possible business for you.
