Re: HELLLP! - Before i go mad!
I cant see that a 3 way mitre will work, and possibly that I dont even know what im trying to do lol.
Look at it this way.
if i tile the window as normal,,,,with the trim down the left right and bottom of the window....mitred in both corners (left and righht)
how do I then, make sure that the trim coming along the wall marries up with the trim in the window. does that make sense?

Re: HELLLP! - Before i go mad!
Wouldn't it be a good idea to produce a tile trim which had a ready made 3 way mitre at one end (or even just a normal mitre), which the tiler could then just cut to size at the other end and fit??
I'll look out for it on Dragon's Den, but i'll expect commission......

You can actually buy 3 way corners from some trim manufacturers. As it is, once you have done a few, it isn't really all that hard.

Give it a go. The corner trims you get I never liked much as you get three joins per corner showing, and unless you start smoothing them off with some smooth sand-paper to get them perfect, the chances are you'll have one of the three sticking out a bit somewhere.
With a 3-way mitre, you have one join, and done with the right trim it does look like the whole thing is seamless.
Noting the fact you made a diagram to show us, I'm guessing you'd prefer the seamless lol

Do they look as hideous as i'm imagining them to look? I've seen the corner pieces for 2 way joins, and they weren't nice.

That would be very subjective. One person might like them, another wouldn't.

Re: HELLLP! - Before i go mad!
You have a corner that is around a 33dg mitre and takes practise but can be done...Will be very hard to get a 3 way to join neatley on an offset corner...
2 way top mitre at 33dgs and reveal face trim tucked up underneath mitred to the cill trim will be equally as neat.
