ello, well the travertine i was suppose to be laying has turned into wickes RIGA, slate effect porclain
its a tan coloured tile with a black top on it,looks like ... -

ello, well the travertine i was suppose to be laying has turned into wickes RIGA, slate effect porclain
its a tan coloured tile with a black top on it,looks like itd been added on top afterwards sort off, with a grid profile underneath
done a water test,virtually no absortion
so my question is,how do know which porclains need sealing,or do they all? cheers ,steve

Seal it if it's polished,yours sounds like a porcelain glazed tile, I'd back skim the tile with deep profile on it.

Stevee - whatever you've got the top is glazed. The biscuit could be double fired to make it highly impervious and the box could make it sound porcelain ie porcelater/porceram etc.
Solid porcelain is the same colour all the way through.
IMO it will not need sealing.

sounds as if its glazed so won't need sealing polished porcelain would need sealing and would be the same colour all the way through

job looks good except for one thing...why did you not finish with a full tile on the end of the third row from the right?sorry but i spotted it.
