How do you do a brick bond floor? I've set the floor out ok, but just wondering how you get the 2nd row to lie exactly half a tile over from row 1, and then ensure that row 3 is exactly back in line with row 1? If you get what i mean- i was gonna mark all the tiles half way across and use that - is this how you lot do it?
I Haven't done a brick bond floor yet but I have done a couple brickbond splash backs and thats how I set them out . so I would set a floor out the same with a mark on the center of each tile.
hi willbones mate.. lay your first row.. then lay second starting from centre of tile in first row... all the next rows can be kept in line by just using your level as straight edge to line them up with previous rows and so on......hope this helps.......dave..
