Things deffinitely picking up I think. Self Build market busy as always but Barratts, Persimmons and David Wilson homes all starting to build houses again allbeit a bit on the slow side and I think it will take 12 months or so to get back to something like we were 18 months ago. I just grateful I still got a job though.... Suppose the next thing to put the Kybosh on things will be the general election. At least at the moment people spending money on public projects. Once election out of the way I think there will be a moratorium on public spending so happy days again....Not

Yeah - Just a small patch - I used to look after Birmingham up to Manchester and across to Wales as well but then they took pity on me.

I was discussing this with my tile shop, they where quiet around Easter as people just 'sat tight' and monitored the finincial situation. Now folk are going for it and doing the bathroom or kitchen, we are bothe flat out!

Off to Tadcaster tomorrow to look at a screed where the tiles have failed. Major delamination. Suspect a problem with the screed but will see when I get there. Then off to see some new screed just been poured to take some pics for the website. Staying local to home on Wednesday cos got to go to hospital - bad back - too much time on me hands and knees screeding in the past and Thursday work form home to keep mrs Ajax happy on our wedding anniversay. Not sure Friday yet but one thing is for certain - there will be plenty to do... You Might guess I not in the tiling game but look after some of the bits that you guys stick em to. Anhydrite in the main.... At the weekend I am going to sort out my leaky shower...
