Default Mosaic help please..!

Hi guys. I need a bit of help with quoting for a Mosaic job..! To be honest i have never done Mosaics. If you look at the photo, i have to tile all around the toilet cistern. My question is: Would i need to have the cistern removed before tiling, or is it easy enough to to cut the Mosaic tiles around it..? Any help would be much appreciated..Kev.. ..

PS. The tiles are ceramic

you need to check if the pan can be pulled forward to allow the cistern to come away from the wall to allow clearance for mosaics.....would be easier and neater if it would...

For me, I would look if there was enough clearance behind the toilet and if so I would save myself the heartache of having to remove the toilet. With them being mosaics you could just cut the net and slide them in behind.

If there isn't enough clearance I would remove the cistern.

Good luck and post pics when you have done.

Thanks for all your help on this one guys.. .. As it goes, and when i viewed the job, i was shown around by the Mrs of the house.. .. Then , and after reading your posts, i rang my prospective customers, advising them that it would be a good idea to remove the cistern before the tiling commenced..! With that, and speaking to the Mr of the household, he informed me that his wife had got it all wrong, and that he only wanted the top of the boxing-in tiled... ..LOL Oh well, no worries, i still have the other bathroom to quote for, plus 3 bedrooms to quote for the decorating.. ..

Thanks..Kev..
