Discuss Zafira glazed porcelain from B&Q in the Tiling Forum at TilersForums; Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on these tiles from B&Q? Seems to be lots of negatives on the forum re B&Q tiles but they look OK and selling ...

    Default Zafira glazed porcelain from B&Q

    Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on these tiles from B&Q? Seems to be lots of negatives on the forum re B&Q tiles but they look OK and selling for £10 sq m - they are from China tho'.

    Any thoughts anyone?

    There has been 1000's of views and 100's of posts about Chinese porcelain from B&Q and not many as you say positive.
    IMO you get what you pay for! At £10/mt its as 'cheap as chips' and if the problems ref :sealing/sizes etc are a big issue then these tiles are not for you.
    I have fixed these tiles on 5 occassions ( 3 times for 1 client ) when they first hit the market - about 2/3 years ago, and as I've never had any negative comments from them, my view would have to be value for money!

    personally i would avoid as tj mentions you get what you pay for better to stick to tile retailers
