Smile my white polished porcelain floor tiles

i have recently purchased white polished porcelain tiles for the floor of my kitchen and hallway.
the salesman at the tile shop advised me to degrease the tiles first as they have a waxy coat which needs to be removed using a special degreasing liquid.
the tiles then would have to be sealed before grouting.
problem: my builder sealed the tiles first i.e. he did not de-wax the tiles using the special degreaser liquid i bought.
can i still de-wax or has the sealer coated the tiles so that the waxy coat cant be removed easily?
what would you suggest i do?

    many thanks in advance!

The wax would have prevented the sealer from taking....

Use something like Lithofin Abra clean or LTP grimex to remove the transit wax then when clean and dry use Lithofin fz impregnator or LTP MPG sealer...others are available but these are ones i would use...

you can strip it all off using a product called LTP Grimex, it can be diluted to various strengths depending on how much you need to strip

The wax needs to be remove or the sealer will not penertrate and no shine will be on the tiles.

I'd recommend ringing local tile merchants from your yellow pages, and see if they stock it

Its a little bit time consuming (My neighbour bought tiles and did the same - and was frustrated about the whole preparation process) but once they are laid you will soon forget the inconvenience!

It took him about half a day to prepare 37 square meters.
