Default Recess Shower Tiling

Hi, I've done tiling before and setting out centrally but can't make up my mind in the shower recess. I have 200 x 316 plain noir tiles but when setting whole tiles from bottom I finish with 30cm tile at top. I'm struggling to convince myself to split the difference and start with a half tile at the bottom of the shower. What would others do?
