A few weeks ago there was a thread from a new tiler in the south of England wanting to gain practical experience on the job -
for free.
Now as I thought that showed commitment, I offered to help - however the distance would prove too far.
My offer was taken up today by a local lad in the Tilers Forum who I've been in contact with for those few weeks since it was shown.
He came out to a job only miles from his base and watched as I set up a small Victorian entrance porch. The skies opened after a couple of hours of talking and measuring - so a short day was had by both!
What I did learn from him though was how highly he felt about the NETT training course he attended (well done Darren) and also how commited he is to his new vocation.
I wish him well for the future and hope time allows him to develop his business.
Well done _ _ _ .
Timeless John.
