    Default the perfect job!

    Hi , at last couldnt have wished for better, tiled outside porch today in scorching sun, nice customer, radio on and a cold beer and in the house for 3oclock.... dosent get much better.

    I was in a wetroom too, hacking off sand and cement render, drilling and injecting dpc, boarding and replastering.

    Did you dry wall over the injected dpc wall

    this is my 9 to 5 it really is a novelty guys I'm happy to of been tiling indoors over the week end made a nice change to stay out of the sun!

    I've never used dry wall where an injection dpc has taken place, used soveriegn renderlite or sand/cement

    Specialist DPC (tri-rend) injected into mortar bed via brick.On an external wall we would then sand and cement with a dpc additive. The wet room was a downstairs party wall. The surveyor makes the decision we do the work.

    Working in conversion job at the mo. 2 flats above a bakery.

    Chuffing sweltering, but not far to go for elevenses, lunch, afternoon break. Gonna end up a fat git by the time I'm finished.........which if I string it out will be............

    on my knees laying 600x600 polished porcelain all day,nice temp then getting roasted when out mixing !!!

    Just done a bathroom in a victorian house (no ventilation), walls and floors. Been sweating my bits and bobs off for the last couple of days .

    sweat running down my face and the customer walks past with an ice cream and says 'I don't normally eat these but it's so hot isn't it' You'll find his body in the chest freezer where his precious ice creams used to be!
