Grouts in the
Tiling Forum at TilersForums;

I'm pretty confident with sealing with silicon but personally wouldn't try for myself, i would find it too difficult to get a good finish in the + joints. I tiled a jet black gloss tile in my brothers kitchen and used a black mapie grout and looked great dryed a darker color than the powder but would advise using laytex gloves.

Mapei Ultracolour Plus 120 (Black) grout is very black. I am presuming your tiles are gloss? The black may not look "as" black because grout doesn't have a gloss finish. If you have a local Mapei stockist, I suggest taking alook at the Ultracolour Black
