In at the deep end
Hello and a good to meet you all.Im a landscaper living in the south of france and have just got a job working for this man who wants me to mosaic a swimming pool. This is my first experience at tiling and its about 250 square metres odd.I firstly removed all the old mosaic and have been tiling away.My problem is i have to tile these new steps going into the pool which are straight and then curve around like cheeses wedges. The riser also curves into the tread so there are no right angles at all.Is there any system or rule of thumb way to contiue the flow of the tiles with out them V'ing in on each other.thanks!

Re: In at the deep end
If there v'ing you will have trim them so the mosaic flow into each other rather than suddenly butting into each other.
Did look for pictures but could'nt find any

Re: In at the deep end
Hello i have now finished the steps which i think i did the hard way.I did not know that it was ok to have cuts in the mosaic pieces when i started them and managed to fan the mosaic pieces around the steps so they all joined seamlesly. This gave me quite a few head aches but now its done, just the floor to go now which i will do like the picture from whitebeam. Also im not that brave i sort of just got stuck with doing this as im normally laying slabs but despite a few stressfull moments am quite happy with it so i think ill be back again soon. Thanks again for all of your help!
