    Default 'Painted walls'

    Guys

Just been out to look at a job. New build with decent plaster skim walls but one of the bathrooms has had a matt emulsion / splash coat painted on. I can scape this off with my finger nail so accepting it needs to come off but any recommendations of the best/easiest/quickest way to do this??

    Thanks Chris

Sometimes you can soak the wall with a sponge a couple of times, wait 20 seconds for it to soak in a bit, then get a 100mm scraper blade (with a decent blade in it), and the paint should come off in sheets. Depends on the condition of the wall.

    Thanks folks

Figured it was going to need a bit of hard scrubbing in one form another. Cheers for the various options.
