| Diagonal Tiles on Floor | | I will be laying some porcelain floor tiles for a friend 33cm x 33cm. We haven't decided if were going to do it diagonally or straight line yet. I might do it diagonally as it looks better and coz i aint done a diagonal layout yet. I usually do a dry a lay and make a cross to get an idea of cuts and then adjust accordingly. I plan to do the same when i do it diagonally. Is there anything else i need to be aware of ? | | |

| Re: Diagonal Tiles on Floor | | Go to Pro Tiling Tools, Professional tiling tools, Rubi tile cutters, Tiling trowels & more... and buy a profile gauge for diagonal floor tiles, its a rubi one and its orange, really makes marking edge tiles easy, and make sure your tile cutter cuts them diagonally otherwise lots of wet cutting. | |

| Re: Diagonal Tiles on Floor | | GAZ ur a smart ar*e, lol....want it to be diagonal when you look at it as u walk into the room.....and also forgot to mention its a kitchen and it leads into another small room. So do you continue the pattern or not ? If i continue im bound to end up with some awkward cuts arent i ? | | |

| Re: Diagonal Tiles on Floor | | I just finished 23sqm,kitchen into dining room, really took my time setting out so you walked into the kitchen with a tile in middle of doorway and the dining room had like dh said a half diamond border around it.
Looked mint but took quite alot longer doing all the filling in cuts because you can't just offer the tile up as usual,I used the angle finder by ruby made life much easier,
Good luck with it mate | | |
