I'm looking for polished porcelain 600*600mm and am based in Harlow, Essex. Mrs is getting depressed at the site of the kitchen.

a quick search shows a few tile shops in your neck of the woods, better to go and look than buy, blind, off ebay etc
if it wasn't the kitchen it would be something else.....

Spent most of the morning browsing suppliers within 5sq miles (excluding the sheds of course). Interesting how the same products are priced so differently - may be different manufacturers I assume. I've received what I presume to be an excellent tile (sample) from a Northern supplier who's also given me detailed specs of the product (not very forthcoming from some companies). I'm no expert, anyone care to comment on these tolerances? I don't expect to get B&Qesque results with these.
    Thanks.
    BH.
