Alright all, just wondering what silicone you all you all use

and how?
Small silicone bead on 1st (Tube tip cut at angle)
smooth slightly with wash liq on finger
spray with water/wash up mix, then smooth over completely
is that about right - as I made a right mess last time - initial bead was way to much I think
Oh and when you silicone do you pull or push (the gun that is)
Cheers Guys

Re: Which Silicone
I always use dow corning 785 too!!!!! I find it a hell of alot easier to work with as it does what u want it to.
Soapy water does the trick to.
I think most will agree that u should always where possible pull the gu towards u as if u push the gun away from u u will end up with a right mess as the nosel will tend to pick up the freshly laid gear..... if that makes sense...
Any how stick to 785 mate and u wont go wrong..

Re: Which Silicone
Use the cheap and cheerful No Nonsense sanitary sealant if after white or clear and Mapei if I need to colour match to tiles.
Straight cut nozzle, wet finger and masking tape if its a long run or has to be the dogs danglies!!
Would recommend baby wipes for cleaning up either yourself or accidents, find they work really well....no good using expensive ones though, cheapest ones in tesco or asda are the best for some reason.
