First tiling job advise!!
Hi,
No doubt i will be asking a lot of silly questions in the near future lol
The small bathroom i am tiling has that greeny/brown flooring that was
fitted on new builds in the 90,s is it ok to lay directly on top of that?
Any other advise would be great.
Cheers
Paul

Re: First tiling job advise!!
IMO chipboard is not stable enough to tile to directly..so over boarding with ply or backer boards is required..

Re: First tiling job advise!!
If the floor is stable enough deflection wise then hardi 250 6mm will suffice...if not then you will need to ply it...bs standards is 15mm....
