    Question Laying slate hearths

    I've just ordered some pieces of 25mm riven slate to use as a hearth for my 4kW woodburner. I am laying them on a 40mm concrete base (on top of a concrete floor). What adhesive and grout should I use bearing in mind the heat from the fire?

    Use grey flexible adhesive, and grey flexible grout.
