Smile chipboard floor - new conservatory

We are building a new conservatory (6.2m x 2.6m) with 22mm t&g glued chipboard floor. There is a concrete base under the joists and insulation between them. We want to lay travertine or marble tiles.
Is the chipboard OK and what adhesives should we use? Do we need a matting layer (not sure of the technical terms!)?
If it's not then can you please suggest what we should do?
    thanks

over the years i have gained a lot of experiance with natural stone floor with a timber substraint (meaning had to go back on a lot due to tile cracking) and in my experiance it has always been due to movement in the floor.

so i would always insist as advised by DAVE a 22mm ply base fixed as securely as possible (almost over do it on fixings). Then i would use a Ditra matting (membrane). I'm sure there is many other types of membrane outhere but it's never let me down.

as the others say 22mm ply well secured with ditra matting to give the best possible surface to tile onto as travertine and marble are not cheap, would also add that you will need to use a suitable adhesive flexible and white.

Thank you all for your advice.
We've now decided on Jerusalem Limestone and I'll speak to the tiler again.
Looks like the chipboard might have to come up....
