Hi all, well been reading threads from the pages and the time people take to complete jobs. I recently asked advice about a slate floor, which thanks to the pro tilers advice went great. Looked the dogs nuts when done. Tiles were uncalibrated and 11sqm to tile.(Loads of adhesive) Took me 4 days to finish. Take an average kitchen of 5sqm, window, 6sockets, trims etc etc would take me 3 days to tile( 10 x 10 ) and half a day to grout and finish. How far am I behind ??
Should I be taking 2/3 days. Im charging £450 for a kitchen which is a ton a day. Been tiling now for 3 months. Do you pick up tricks to speed up or just pure hard work. Ta Groucho
dont worry how long it takes you at the start just do the best job that you can like it was your own house speed will come after time they will appreciate that in the end
